## Raspberry Pi App Store for Open Source Projects
### Why use pi-apps?
Say there's **a guy**. He's a beginner and comes from a Windows background.
On day one, he will try to install a few familiar Windows apps. He searches the web and finds a **bad tutorial**. The tutorial says to install an x86 deb file on your PC. Well that didn't work on the Pi!
So he searches again. This time he finds an **outdated tutorial** (from RPi's Wheezy days) on **some random dude's blog**. The procedure **destroys his OS**. Now this guy has to re-flash his SD card. **What a hassle.** :(
This happens to hundreds of beginner users every day of the year.
It's about time: someone needs to **make a collection bash scripts that install apps with a click of a button**. Pi-Apps is here to help.
